Assistant Project Manager - Strategic Enterprise Solutions (SES) Team - Remote

Responsibilities

• Acts as key interface with local Convergint Specialist and Project Management to ensure job execution.
• Maximizes customer satisfaction by acting as a key interface with the customer.
• Ensures projects are executed within budgeted costs and timelines, specifically responsible for documenting all change orders.
• Identifies and mitigates potential project risks, developing/implementing strategies to control deviations from estimates and deadlines.
• Performs other duties as requested or required.

Requirements

• Basic project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Developing project financial skills.
• Leadership Orientation - Actively seeks to model, guide, develop, and mentor others within the organization.
• Strong Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Preferred Experience: 3-5 years in engineering, field service, or project management, with experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare.
• Previous supervisory experience is not required but preferred.
