Assistant/Project Manager (San Antonio, TX)
Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise Project Superintendents and other personnel as assigned
- Manage administrative project aspects, project plans, proposals and project documents/contracts
- Track project progress for compilation into owner pay estimates
- Obtain permits required for assigned projects
- Attend internal preconstruction meetings and attend owner mandated preconstruction meetings as required
- Interact with field management and field personnel
- Maintain MS Project Schedules on an ongoing monthly basis
- Receive change order requests/RFI from the field and submit to owners for direction and completion
- Ensure field employee compliance with safety, quality control programs and compliance to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
- Primary responsibility is to assist the project manager on the following:

High school diploma or equivalent certification required
OSHA 10-hour Training preferred
Must be able to communicate effectively in both a written and oral manner
Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Mature, flexible, able to command the respect and confidence of others, philosophically committed to the objectives of the Company, and possess a high tolerance of mental stress
Able to work well at project sites in the field environment
Able to prioritize and plan work schedules and use time effectively
Able to identify and resolve problems in a collaborative manner
Able to work extended hours as required
Able to lead and motivate groups
Able to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours
Able to be physically alert to any shift that is assigned
May be required to possess valid state driver's license
Must be able to work effectively not only individually but in a team environment as well
