Assistant Project Manager - Heavy Civil
Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager is a pivotal role in managing and executing high-value heavy-highway and heavy-civil construction projects. This position involves significant responsibilities in project coordination, team supervision, financial management, and compliance, along with proficient use of specialized construction management software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in heavy-highway or heavy-civil construction projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI), Oracle P6 Scheduling Software, and Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation.
- Strong leadership, financial management, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work effectively in both a team setting and independently.
Physical Demands
Capability to work in diverse field conditions and to navigate construction sites. Occasional lifting of materials and equipment may be required.
