Assistant Project Manager Healthcare Construction

Job Description

Serving as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Developing project schedules, milestones, and critical path timelines
Managing project budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and cash flow reporting
Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors
Supporting permitting, entitlement, and regulatory approval processes
Reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Conducting site visits to monitor quality, schedule adherence, and project progress
Facilitating project meetings, maintaining meeting minutes, and driving accountability
Identifying project risks and implementing proactive solutions
Managing punch lists, project turnover, and closeout activities
Supporting occupancy planning and move management efforts

Qualifications

3-10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, real estate development, owner's project management, or design management
Healthcare/Hospital project background
Experience working directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
Strong communication, relationship-building, and client-facing skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-driven mindset
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Project; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, CAD, or BIM is a plus
Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
Knowledge of LEED, WELL, Passive House, Fitwel, or other sustainability initiatives is a plus
