What You Will Do

  • Affords assistance to the project manager in managing construction projects, encompassing planning, directing, coordinating, or budgeting activities related to construction.
  • Assesses the scope of work and the resources necessary to successfully complete the project.
  • Verifies complete estimates for projects through a thorough review of proposal specifications, drawings, take-off information, contracting, etc.
  • Planners, coordinates, and supervises onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control), and provides day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff.
  • Provides technical assistance, such as interpreting drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, and initiating and maintaining extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
  • Maintains the efficient use of materials and equipment, and monitors the contractual performance of the project.
  • Administers financial tracking systems to monitor project costs, estimates the remaining cost to complete, and conducts cash flow forecasting and resource planning.
  • Develops, implements, and executes an effective Safety and Health Program on the project.
  • Performs additional assignments as directed by supervisor.

  • Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods, lift and hold in excess of 50 lbs, talk, hear, and occasionally sit
  • Subject to hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions depending on location

Reporting Structure

  • Construction Executive
  • Senior Project Manager or Vice President

What We Expect

  • Minimum high school diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience in the construction industry
  • Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and 10 years' experience in the construction industry preferred
  • Shows leadership, concise execution of plans, vision of project future, and effective communication of vision to subordinates
  • Integrity, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of all applicable Caddell processes and procedures
  • Strong client relations skills are a must
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
