Assistant Project Manager General
About the role
We are seeking an organized and collaborative professional to support project delivery across a variety of assignments. Our team is looking for someone who can help coordinate stakeholders, maintain project controls, and keep documentation, communications, and schedules aligned from start through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Support project managers with coordination across projects of varying complexity, including smaller projects handled independently.
- Manage document control, databases, project communications, and tracking activities to support timelines and budget goals.
- Cook up submittals, requests for information, supplemental design instructions, and site drawing logs while supporting contract execution and invoice review.
- Aid with project controls, reporting, risk reviews, closeout documentation, and safety compliance across the project team and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related degree from an accredited program.
- Minimum 5 years of applicable experience; internship experience does not count toward the required years.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- High proficiency using Microsoft Office and the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline project team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment and work overtime on short notice.
