Assistant Project Manager - Fiber Network Design

Responsibilities

• Aids the Project Manager in managing the entire life cycle of a function(s), project(s), program, and/or customer, from set-up through execution to close-out
• Liaises with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
• Aids in the planning and implementation of projects
• Helps coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
• Analyzes data as required
• Prepares agendas, meeting notes, drafts invoices, draws estimates, and prepares project summaries
• Maintains task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and reports project progress
• Performs other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Outside Plant Fiber Design or related projects; management may consider other education and/or work experience to be acceptable for appointment to this position
• Available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday-Friday; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand
• Willing and able to travel as needed, including overnight travel
• Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance
• Able to pass a background check/drug test/driving record check
• Authorized to work in the United States
