Assistant Project Manager
About the role
The Assistant Project Manager position is a hybrid-style role based between two primary locations: the Wolf Creek Contracting office in Waterford, Ohio, and active job sites, with the majority of time spent in the field on project sites. Remote work is not available for this position.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the Assistant Project Manager is to assist the Project Managers in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure document control and various requests having to do with project detail.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Retrieving submittals, entering submittals into the system and submitting
- Entering time into the system for weekly timecards
- Entering schedule of values
- Managing subcontractor paperwork and pay.
- Estimate subcontractor breakout to Operations Assistant
- Process change order requests
- Review forms of request – RFI’s, PR’s, ASI’s, and bulletins
- Process purchase orders
- Develop take offs
- Verify W9’s, Lien Waivers and Insurance Requirements for Subcontracts and Purchase orders.
- Track receiving tickets and balance with Purchase Orders.
- Aid Project Manager in Project Close-Out
- Set-up all new Projects in Accounting System and in Project Folders.
Qualifications
- Desired but not required: Degree in construction technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to learn and follow corporate processes and the chain of command.
