Assistant Project Manager

About the role

At VCI Construction, as an Assistant Project Manager, you will report to the division Project Manager, work closely with supervisors, and field employees. The ability to multi-task is essential in this position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting production, status of jobs and billing information
• Construction Work Face Planning experience preferred
• Project Controls 1-3 years of experience working on construction projects is ideal
• Detail-oriented and able to perform quality assurance audits on reporting
• Good verbal and written communication skills are a MUST
• Must be able to work independently to complete deliverables on a daily basis
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel) ability to navigate large amounts of data to support contractual reporting requirements quickly through pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.

Requirements

• At least 1-3 years relevant experience
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen
• Good organization, multi-tasking, time management and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience / knowledge of State, Highway Department & Municipal requirements for Tele-Communications construction permitting processes
• Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Professional and Microsoft Project
• Some knowledge of As Builts
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels
• Ability to interact effectively with other team members
• Construction experience preferred but not required

Pay

The wage range for Assistant Project Manager is $70,304.00 - $80,000.00.
