Job Description
This position is part of TFC’s Construction Department, supporting project execution from pre-construction through project closeout.
Design Review & Coordination
- Review and provide comments on architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior design drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with consultants to resolve construction issues and respond to RFIs
- Attend construction coordination meetings with consultants and trade subcontractors
Pre-Construction & Procurement
- Develop and review trade-specific scopes of work, specifications, and technical documentation for bid packages
- Review subcontractor bids for scope and specification compliance; prepare bid comparison sheets to ensure full scope coverage
- Identify and evaluate potential new subcontractors
Cost Management
- Prepare construction cost estimates throughout various phases of the project
- Review and process subcontractor change order requests
Construction Administration & Field Oversight
- Maintain oversight of on-site construction progress and quality to ensure compliance with project documents
- Manage and lead MEP coordination meetings
- Review and coordinate shop drawings across multiple disciplines for accuracy and alignment with design documents
- Manage and track the shop drawing and subcontractor submittal process
Project Controls & Closeout
- Review and approve subcontractor payment requisitions based on work completed
- Develop and manage project schedules and logistics plans for specific phases of construction
- Oversee DOB requirements and approvals, including TCO and CO
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in high-rise residential or hotel construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Highly detail-oriented
