About the role
Separtment Line Construction is headquartered in Heber City, Utah with additional locations in Sandy and Provo. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating high-voltage electric transmission and distribution construction and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management: Assist with budget projections, track project costs, update project Schedule of Values (SOV), prepare billing packages, and communicate findings to leadership.
- Contract Administration: Support in preparing, reviewing, and documenting revisions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain electronic and printed files, generate progress reports, prepare and update project documentation, and address stakeholder communications.
- Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution: Communicate with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, or engineers to resolve matters related to work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
- Material and Quality Management: Develop project material trackers, track inventories, execute corrective actions, and address delays or adverse conditions.
Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong in Microsoft Excel.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Multi-tasking Ability: Must be able to handle various tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
- Adaptability: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate adaptability.
- Education: High school degree is required. A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business, or a trade school certificate is preferred.
