Responsibilities
- Update schedule with supplied information.
- Follow up and maintain timely material deliveries.
- Absorb and assist in estimating and soliciting subcontractors in the bidding and pricing process.
- Check qualifications of subcontractors and review them for final approval with Project Manager.
- Absorb and assist in maintaining the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and costs.
- Maintain SBI report.
- Absorb and assist in preparing, reviewing for accuracy, and issuing change orders to subcontractors and material vendors.
- Absorb and assist in preparing monthly pay applications and obtaining lien releases from subcontractors and vendors as needed.
- Absorb and prepare meeting minutes for all on-site meetings with subcontractors and Owner.
- Absorb and prepare and monitor all requests for information (RFI's) and maintain RFI Log.
- Absorb and receive, review, check, and monitor the entire submittal process.
- Absorb and maintain current construction documents.
- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- 1-3 years experience in the construction industry required, healthcare construction experience preferred
- Experience with construction project management software such as Procore, Viewpoint, Revit and VICO
- BIM, MS Excel and MS Word required
- LEED AP and/or Design-Build Institute of America a plus
- Valid Driver's License required
- Work is performed mainly in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions, and travel from site to site.
- Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and field environment (construction site); to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance and greater than 50lbs with assistance; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
