Responsibilities
- Aid PM with ROJ log maintenance, reviewing lead times with subcontractors
- Aid PM in reviewing submittals
- Process submittals – submission and return
- Aid PM in writing RFIs
- Process RFIs-submission and return
- Write and distribute meeting minutes
- Distribute Bulletins, chase subcontractors for pricing
- Obtain insurance certificates / CCIP /OCIP enrollment for all subcontracts, service vendors prior to their arrival onsite. Review w/PM for compliance.
- Aid PMs in assembling owner change requests
- Maintain Document Control for project
- May take on cost engineer roles
- Create and Track Field Report Open Items Logs, follow thru internally and with Subs for compliance
- Aid PM with implementing LEED process and documentation
- Provide punchlist reporting – aid PM and superintendent staff as necessary
- Obtain, track, and assemble project closeout documentation
Qualifications
- 0 – 5 years of experience within the construction industry in project management or similar role.
- A Bachelor’s degree. Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Additional proficiencies may include cost management software (ACC Preferred), scheduling software and construction management software (ACC preferred).
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
Pay
The annual pay salary range for this position in Boston is between $90,000 and $135,000.
