Assistant Project Manager

We’re seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in South Florida managing large-scale projects. This program will utilize your Project Management skills to design and construct crucially important schools which will educate the next generation of American students. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with the Contractors. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.
Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management
- Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, negotiate and manage contracts
- Coordinate design and construction teams
- Maintain project governance
- Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site
- Ensure successful project turnover
Your efforts will ensure this complex program is managed with organization, accountability, and transparency. You will be mentored in the more complex aspects of project management and building relationships as you progress towards becoming a Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects
- Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components
Qualifications
- Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) (preferred)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) (preferred)

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $105,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
