Assistant Project Manager
Location: Cameron Park, CA | Company: Hemington Landscape Services, Inc.
About the role
At Hemington Landscape Services, Inc., a commercial landscape, concrete, and park construction contractor serving the greater Sacramento area since 1983, the Assistant Project Manager (APM) role is a deliberate growth position designed to develop future Project Managers. Many of our Project Managers started in support or field roles and advanced through structured development and mentorship. You'll work directly with experienced Project Managers and Construction Managers to support projects from preconstruction through closeout, gaining exposure to materials and purchasing, RFIs and change orders, budget tracking, inspections and scheduling, jobsite coordination, client communication, project documentation and closeout, and more. As you demonstrate capability, you'll gradually take on direct responsibility for portions of projects, client communication and meetings, schedule and budget ownership, leadership of Construction Managers, and project accountability and performance metrics.
