About the role
In the role of Project Manager Assistant, we'll count on you to:
- Cook up the work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
- Handle many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
- Manage workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
- Ensure internal Quality Standards and Procedures have been met with the Project Manager
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and others as needed
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities in collaboration with market sector leadership including client prospecting, meeting coordination, events and conferences, client follow-up, and ongoing relationship support to drive repeat work and expand existing accounts
- Support and lead pursuit efforts with project manager and sector leadership by identifying, tracking, and responding to RFQs/RFPs, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions
- Develop fees, scopes, and work plans in collaboration with Principal and Project Management staff, including defining project approach, level of effort, staffing, and schedule
- Contribute to pursuit strategy and proposal development, partnering with technical teams, marketing, and leadership to craft compelling win themes, qualifications, and tailored project approaches aligned with client needs
- Perform other duties as needed
Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer Certification
- PMP certification
- Local candidates preferred
- Experience with Architecture, Engineering or Construction preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years related experience
- The ability to interact with various design teams
- Excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
