Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
- Assist with project schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documents.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal team members.
- Track project progress and help identify potential schedule, scope, or cost issues.
- Assist with subcontractor buyout, bid review, and scope coordination.
- Help prepare and maintain meeting minutes, project reports, logs, and documentation.
- Support change order management, including gathering pricing, documentation, and approvals.
- Assist with project billing, pay applications, cost tracking, and budget updates.
- Communicate professionally with clients, design teams, trade partners, and field teams.
- Work closely with Superintendents to support field coordination and issue resolution.
- Help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, as-builts, and final documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, assistant project management, project engineering, or a related role.
- Commercial construction experience preferred.
- General contractor experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving parts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively with office and field teams.
