Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their office in Dallas, Texas. Since 1913, Fisk has been one of the nation's leading providers for the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems, structured cabling applications, integrated electronic security systems, and building technology solutions. Notable projects include The Purple Line (D Line) Extensions in Los Angeles, SR 99 Viaduct replacement tunnel in Seattle, MGM Grand and City Center projects in Las Vegas, Third Street Light Rail in San Francisco, Minute Maid Park in Houston, and multiple airport expansions and data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Review owner contract and ensures compliance
• Aid in the development of master project schedule and quality control program
• Aid in contract buyout within 90 days
• Aid in development of site specific safety program
• Aid in development of project specific quality program
• Aid in development of site logistics plan
• Participate in and document punch list process
• Prepare O&M manuals and warranties
• Aid in managing project costs relative to budget
• Manage schedule updates
• Constructively participate in project planning meetings
• Identify risks that could affect cost, schedule, or owner satisfaction
• Aid in preparation of monthly project status reports and executive summaries

Requirements

• Four-year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
• Minimum of five years’ experience in construction, design, finance and management
• Proficiency in Fisk’s computer software and keyboarding necessary (Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, AIA Contract Documents)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documents
