Responsibilities
- Provide support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from post-contract handoff through project closeout.
- Aid with RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and document control.
- Coordinate materials, site access, and scheduling details with field teams and subcontractors.
- Track budgets, cost-to-complete forecasts, and assist the Project Admin team with requisitions.
- Help maintain project documentation, including project schedule, change orders, RFIs, scope changes and job budgeting support.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and assist in field coordination.
- Lead planning and execution of smaller-scale or short-duration projects.
- Communicate directly with clients, GCs, and field staff.
- Identify project risks and escalate issues to the project team when needed.
- Serve as a day-to-day liaison between PMs, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Participate in planning and coordination meetings as needed.
- Assist with safety tracking, punch list generation, and progress monitoring.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and project partners, as directed.
- Take lead responsibility for smaller or short-duration projects with PM/ Sr. PM oversight.
- Organize and track short-term schedules, materials, and logistics.
- Escalate risks or issues promptly and ensure appropriate team communication.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in construction or adjacent field
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Historic Preservation, or a related field preferred
- Comfortable reading and interpreting construction documents and specifications
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- General understanding of building systems and finishes
- Knowledge of historic building materials such as plaster, decorative painting, etc. is preferred
- Ability to adapt and pivot as needed (no two jobs are the same)
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, Sage/Timberline, Microsoft Project
- OSHA 30 required; SST (for NYC candidates) preferred. Can be obtained once hired
- Must be able to travel and assist in managing projects across multiple regions as needed
