Assistant Project Manager

Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will collaborate with the Project Manager across all phases of project delivery, providing oversight on complex design and construction projects to drive high-level results while maintaining and strengthening client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress and deliver timely updates to the Project Manager.
• Aid the Project Manager in day-to-day project oversight and administration, including scheduling, estimating, quality management, and reporting.
• Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients to ensure project satisfaction.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects of significant scale and considerable complexity on time, on budget, high quality, and environmental compliance.
• Support the management of projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Ensure environmental, safety, and quality compliance and oversee utility coordination throughout the construction process.
• Partner with Project Manager to ensure inspection tasks are adequately covered and all project construction activities are accurately documented.

Required Skills / Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical or mechanical preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities construction preferred.

• Talking and listening for more than 2/3 of the day.
• May need to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, or reach with arms for less than 1/3 of the day.
• Lift items up to 10 pounds on an infrequent basis.
• Clear vision at 20 inches or less, ability to view various reports and forms, computer monitor information, and distinguish between different colors.
• Depth perception, peripheral vision, focusing ability, and distance vision necessary.

Salary Range

$75,000-$100,000 per year base salary, plus benefits.
