How you will contribute
- Learn mechanical and plumbing estimating
- Work closely with the Project Management team
- Aid with material takeoff
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
- Maintain field crews’ resource planning and organization
- Provide top-notch customer service
- Grow within the project team and the company
What you need to qualify
- Ahern will help make the most of your post-secondary education ideally in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred candidates have 1-3+ years of experience, internship included
- Candidates with industry experience in mechanical contracting and engineering are a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
- Knowledge of estimating software and AutoCAD
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented work ethic
