Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager to support projects along the East Coast, with the flexibility to work from either our Baltimore or Virginia Beach offices. This role involves frequent travel to job sites for meetings and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with all contract documents.
- Communicate with subcontractors regarding all paperwork, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Collaborate with the team to create project budgets and schedules.
- Utilize Procore and other project management software to upload necessary documents.
- Attend on-site progress meetings and communicate effectively with leadership.
Requirements
- Experience with contract documents and construction management.
- Proficiency in Procore and other project management software.
- Ability to manage construction documents, RFIs, and commercial construction projects.
- Skills in project engineering and project scheduling.
Qualifications
- Experience in subcontractor selection.
- Strong skills in budget creation and scheduling.
About the role
This is a Contract to Hire position based in Hanover, MD, offering the chance to join a newly independent general contractor with significant growth potential and a large project portfolio. The work environment is small (fewer than 10 people), fostering close collaboration, and involves both office work and heavy travel to job sites.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.00/hr. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
