About the role
The position involves managing emergency response efforts at the Carl Patterson Museum, ensuring the safety of artifacts and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of an emergency response plan
- Coordinate with local authorities and insurance providers in case of emergencies
- Ensure all staff and volunteers are trained in emergency procedures
- Document and report on all incidents and their resolutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in museum studies or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in museum management or emergency response
- Experience with disaster preparedness and response planning
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding museum operations and emergency response
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
