Assistant Program Director I - Childrens Congregate Care

Responsibilities

• Affiliate with the management and clinical oversight of the Children’s Congregate Care program.
• Afford support to the delivery of short-term, long-term, and emergency services that align with best practices.
• Assist in the management of daily program operations to ensure high-quality, client-centered services.
• Oversee intake, assessment, and treatment services for all clients.
• Maintain a positive, engaged team environment aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
• Support hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and support the overall quality of clinical care.
• Act as a liaison between the program and external agencies, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Participate in the Quality Management Team to strengthen internal and external collaboration.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and program data required by funding sources.
• Afford assistance in monitoring program budgets, census, and expenses.
• Afford oversight of the safety and maintenance of program facilities and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in behavioral health or human services.
• Valid driver’s license (Class C or D).
