About the role

The Assistant Program Director (APD) at Riverside Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) oversees the CBHC Component Service and the Outpatient Program. The APD directly supervises the CBHC treatment team managers and Outpatient supervisor(s).

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes data to make informed programmatic decisions.
  • Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives for program quality and access to care improvement.
  • Schedules and staffs all staffing patterns according to regulation for all hours of operation.
  • Maintains clinical leadership and direction in providing program services in an appropriate and time-effective manner, integrating medical health and behavioral health.
  • Provides consultation and group supervision to multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, prescribers, peers, nurses, case managers, administrative staff, and other positions as indicated.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a clinical mental health related discipline and independent clinical licensure required (must be 3 years post independent licensure).
  • Five years clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary health setting required.
  • Three years experience working in a managerial/supervisory or administrative experience in a similar mental health setting required.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the following populations: youth/families, adults with Serious Mental Illness, persons with Substance Use Disorder (including Medication Assisted Treatment)

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
  • Moderate to Advanced computer fluency, including Microsoft Office, required.
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required.
  • May be required to participate in rotating site-based or on-call managerial coverage.

Schedule

Full Time - 40 hours per week, Hybrid Schedule with 4 days in-office and 1 remote
