Terms of Reference for Recruitment of “Assistant Professor (Instrumentation)” are as mentioned below:

• Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (Instrumentation)
• No. of Post: 01
• Level in the Pay matrix (7th CPC): Pay level – 10; Entry Pay Scale – 57700 – 182400
• Age of Superannuation: As per Government of Gujarat Norms
• Educational and other qualifications: Eligibility: B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. with specialization in Instrumentation and M. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in Automation and Robotics/ Automation Engineering/Electronics Robotics with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. Weightage will be given to Ph. D. Degree Holders. Note: Candidates who have done Ph.D. after the Bachelor’s Degree from institution of National importance with GATE/ GPAT/ CEED shall be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
• Method of recruitment: By Direct Recruitment/On Deputation/On loan basis The appointment will be initially for 04 Years and extendable further depending on performance.

• Educational and other qualifications: Eligibility: B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. with specialization in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics and M. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in CAD CAM/ Mechatronics/ Robotics and Mechatronics/ precision Manufacturing with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. Weightage will be given to Ph. D. Degree Holders. Note: Candidates who have done Ph.D. after the Bachelor’s Degree from institution of National importance with GATE/ GPAT/ CEED shall be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
