About the role

The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor Term. This position will provide care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting with clinical partners through the UofL Health System and the VA. Your role as a rheumatologist will be to engage in all three missions of academic medicine - teaching, research, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Train rheumatology fellows, residents, and medical students in autoimmune disorders.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient rheumatology care through UofL Health System and the VA.
• Engage in teaching, research, and patient care missions of academic medicine.
• Collaborate on clinical trials to involve rheumatology fellows in the research arena.

Requirements

• Board‑certified or board eligible in rheumatology.
• Hold a valid Kentucky medical license.
