Primarily outpatient practice with limited inpatient responsibilitiesPractice predominantly at a single locationDedicated administrative and educational time built into the scheduleOpportunity to help develop the Lupus Center of ExcellenceStrong academic environment with teaching and mentorship opportunitiesSupportive leadership and collegial faculty culture Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology careMaintain a predominantly outpatient practice at a single clinic location Participate in a limited inpatient consultative service Support the continued growth and development of the Lupus Center of Excellence Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines to provide comprehensive patient-centered careParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities Service responsibilities are intentionally limited to promote clinical excellence and academic engagement, with the opportunity for additional service involvement as the section continues to grow and recruit new faculty. Academic Responsibilities Teach and supervise residents, and medical students Commitment to growing the Division of Rheumatology with eventual development of a Rheumatology fellowship training program Participate in conferences, lectures, and educational initiatives Mentor trainees in clinical and professional development Contribute to committee service at the Section, Department, School of Medicine, or institutional level.
