About the role
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and research training of medical students, graduate students, residents, medical fellows in pediatric hematology/oncology or other disciplines, and post-doctoral fellows
- Serving as attending physician participating in the inpatient and outpatient care of children, adolescents and young adults with pediatric cancer
- Directing an independent NIH-funded research program focused on basic and translational research directly related to pediatric cancer
Qualifications
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified or eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology
- Expertise in basic and translational research focused on pediatric cancer
- Track record of successful extramural funding
