Assistant Professor- Tenure Track

About the Role

The Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) at the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH), Emory University, invites applications for the Assistant Professor, tenure-track faculty position.

Responsibilities

• Develop an independent, externally funded research program
• Teach and mentor in the department's Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), Master of Health Administration (MHA), and PhD programs

Qualifications

• Hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field such as health policy, health services research, health economics, healthcare management, medicine, or a related discipline
• Be an outstanding early-career scholar with demonstrated promise as a future leader in health policy, health economics, health services, and/or healthcare management research, including organizational theory and behavior
• Have a track record of high-quality publications
• Demonstrate strong potential for excellence in teaching and mentorship
• Show a clear trajectory toward independence, including a well-articulated strategy for pursuing external grant support early in the appointment

About the Department

The mission of the Department of Health Policy and Management is to generate evidence and cultivate leaders to improve health systems and inform policy. The department includes 19 primary faculty and more than 25 adjunct faculty affiliated with organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Carter Center, and the Georgia Department of Public Health. The Rollins School of Public Health is ranked #2 among "Best Public Health Schools" by U.S. News & World Report.
