Assistant Professor (TCL), Obstetrics & Gynecology

About the Role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor (TCL).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide services in the Ambulatory Care Service, the Labor and Delivery Suite, and in the Operating Room three days a week.
• Provide 2-16 hours and 1-24 hours weekend sessions on a monthly basis in the Labor and Delivery Suite to properly supervise the Residents, on a scheduled on-call basis.
• Provide the required scheduled back-up calls on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
• New York State Licensure to practice medicine.
