Position Overview
- Tenure-track position at Assistant Professor level.
- Research focus: Experimental semiconductor microelectronics, preferably including radiation effects in semiconductors.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop an externally funded research program
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses effectively
- Mentor student research
- Provide departmental, university, and community service
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics
- At least 1 year of postdoctoral or equivalent professional experience after Ph.D.
- Commitment to teaching
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with radiation effects in semiconductors
- Research interests complementing UNT Center for Microelectronics in Extreme Environments and UNT Ion Beam Laboratory
