The Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (IAD) at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites applications for one Assistant Professor of Teaching position (Lecturer) in line with their experience and prior positions and offer competitive salaries. Responsibilities
- Focusing primarily on teaching and curriculum development within core courses of the data science programs.
- Teaching Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Computational Science-related courses at the graduate level.
- Advising these students.
- Industry internship and student project supervision.
- Experiential learning and student excellence initiatives.
- Accreditation objectives.
- Diversity enhancement.
- Program administration.
- External educational grant support.
Requirements
- PhD degree in data science, computer science, computational sciences, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Experience in and a passion for teaching courses in artificial intelligence, statistical learning, data mining, machine learning, database fundamentals, and related data models and queries.
Skills
