Assistant Professor of Surgery- Otolaryngologist – Head & Neck Physician

About the role

Provide medical care to patients in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery as a faculty/attending physician at the facilities in Cabell county in West Virginia. In affiliation with Marshall University, duties include providing supervision and clinical instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery related areas. Participate in rounds and present at one or more Medical Grand Rounds per year.

• Participate in rounds and present at Medical Grand Rounds.

Requirements

F/T position w/ University Physicians & Surgeons Inc. d/b/a Marshall Health. SOC Code 25-1071 5% allocation of duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current medical license to practice medicine in West Virginia.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery.
• Experience in academic medicine and teaching.
