About the role
The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI) invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Research specializing in Big Data for Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Engage in collaborative and independent research focused on Big Data in healthcare.
- Work with UTARI faculty and research personnel, along with other UTA departments.
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals.
- Participate in securing funding through research grant proposal development and submission.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated history of funded research as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI).
- Strong record of scholarly contributions in related research areas.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of five years of relevant experience, demonstrated history of funded research as PI or Co-PI, strong record of scholarly contributions in related research areas.
