About the role
The successful candidate will enjoy a robust clinical practice with academic responsibilities including the didactic and clinical teaching of medical students and residents. Opportunities to conduct clinical research supported by an institutional trials team exist. This position includes clinical and surgical activities at our Huntington campus facility.
Responsibilities
- Engage in a robust clinical practice focusing on Glaucoma
- Teach medical students and residents
- Conduct clinical research with support from an institutional trials team
- Perform clinical and surgical activities at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine's Huntington campus
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Ophthalmology
- Experience in Glaucoma management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
