The Division of Hematology and Blood & Marrow Transplantation at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine Markey Cancer Center is seeking an academically focused researcher to join as an Assistant, Associate Professor, or Professor. Our mission is to reduce cancer deaths through innovative research, dedicated patient care, and education. We provide access to highly specialized, comprehensive, and personalized care, state-of-the-art research, and clinical trials.
About the Department
The Department of Internal Medicine is the largest in the College of Medicine and at the University of Kentucky, with approximately 334 faculty, 157 staff, 214 residents and fellows, and 203 advanced practice providers. The department includes 14 clinical divisions and 2 non-clinical divisions. Faculty secure over $35 million in grant funding annually, supporting cutting-edge research across all internal medicine subspecialties. In the past year, the department published 287 peer-reviewed articles and maintains over 50 active clinical trials and 240 active grants and contracts.
