Job Summary
The University of Kentucky and the NCI-designated Markey Cancer Center are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist or Hematologist/Oncologist. Rapid growth in our division necessitates additions to our faculty team in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology, Blood & Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program at the University of Kentucky / Markey Cancer Center.
About the Role
We seek an academically focused clinician to join as an Assistant or Associate Professor level with a focus on hematologic malignancies, who is enthusiastically committed to teaching, patient care, and patient-oriented research.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in hematology and blood & marrow transplantation
- Contribute to patient-oriented research
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical programs
- Collaborate with other members of the academic community
Requirements
- Completion of residency and fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
- Ky Medical License Within 30 Days Of Appointment
Qualifications
- MD, MD/PhD Degree Or Equivalent
