Assistant Professor of Food and Nutrition
This is a tenure-track faculty position with expectations for teaching on-campus full-time during the academic year.

- Engaging in research and scholarship activities

The Food and Nutrition program is part of the School of Health Sciences and Wellness (SHSW), which has over 1,400 students and offers 6 undergraduate majors, 7 graduate degree programs, and several certificate programs.

Pay
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9-month) faculty position. Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting annual salary of $56,000, commensurate with the candidate’s education, related experience, and qualifications.

Requirements
- Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in food and/or nutrition related field, or ABD nearing completion with retention dependent upon completing the doctorate within one year of initial hire
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Effective and collaborative team member
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for license in Wisconsin as a Registered Dietitian
- Academic course teaching experience
