Location

The Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. The Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The Leven School takes a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary approach to business management. We integrate this perspective throughout our courses, including our strong areas of specialization, to prepare students to enter the workforce and contribute to their organizations and communities. Our faculty blends business experience with scholarship and caring to engage students, prepare them to become leaders, and improve their lives. Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Michael A. Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship and Hospitality with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching entrepreneurship and strategic management or family business
  • Research in entrepreneurship, strategic management, or family business
  • Service in entrepreneurship program coordinator, curriculum development, and/or program assessment support

Required Qualifications

  • An earned Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Management, Entrepreneurship, or related discipline is required.
  • 3 years of teaching in higher education
  • 2 years of program leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in program management
  • Experience in a leadership role with a center
  • Experience working with graduate and undergraduate students
  • Experience in program development
