Responsibilities
- Teach courses in computer science related to cybersecurity
- Teach courses in government policy related to cyber security, information security, and cyber warfare
- Teach modern statistical research methods/data analysis
- Contribute to degree programs in cybersecurity and international and homeland security
- Help launch a new curriculum in security and conflict analysis
Requirements
- Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment, either in computer science, computer engineering, or cybersecurity with academic training in public policy or extensive policy experience; or political science or a related discipline with academic computer science training or extensive technical experience
- Demonstrate potential to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels
- Show strong research background or substantial potential for conducting important academic research in field of specialization
