Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice, Internal Medicine- Palliative Care

Essential Job Functions

The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient and/or outpatient palliative care services at the Clear Lake campus, including symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and interdisciplinary care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in the development and growth of palliative care services at this location
• Engage in scholarly activities such as education, program development, quality improvement, and research initiatives
• Actively participate in departmental and institutional educational programs

Minimum Qualifications

• Board certification in primary specialty
• Board certification or Board eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• Palliative Medicine Fellowship training or other comparable experience

Salary

Commensurate with experience.
