About the role
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Qualifications
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology
- Expertise in Interventional Cardiology
- Additional advanced fellowship training in structural heart disease or complex coronary/chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions is highly desired
Teaching responsibilities
- Educating medical students, residents, cardiovascular fellows and advanced practice providers
- Contributing to the educational mission of the organization
- The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching
Clinical responsibilities
- Development of an outpatient clinical practice
- Attending on the inpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites
