The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Diabetes and diabetes care.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include conducting clinical and education activities.
- Teaching opportunities include involvement in the endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs at the Perelman School of Medicine.
- Academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high-quality teaching responsibilities.
- Provide care for patients with Diabetes and other Endocrine disorders.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
Qualifications
- Expertise in the specific area of Diabetes and diabetes care.
Skills
- Ability to conduct clinical and educational activities.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring.
- Strong clinical skills in managing patients with Diabetes and other Endocrine disorders.
