Teach courses including abnormal psychology, theories of counseling, basic counseling skills, treatment of children/families/couples, research methods.

Teach in clinical MS program preparing students for MFT licensure.

Advise students on career and academic topics.

Serve department, college, and university.

Requirements

• PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or closely related field by time of appointment
• CA licensed or license-eligible as psychologist, MFT, or LPCC
• Graduate coursework or research qualifying to teach clinical/counseling psychology courses
• One class teaching as instructor of record or TA with instructional role
• Research program relevant to clinical/counseling psychology or pedagogy
• English language proficiency

Preferred Expertise

• Expertise in Child, Family, or Couples Therapy
