Responsibilities

  • Teach Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, Introductory biology for majors and non majors as well as other courses in the biology curriculum.
  • Teaching responsibility to include innovative use of technology and student engagement in the classroom.
  • Student academic advisement.
  • Maintaining office hours.
  • Service to the college.
  • Serve on college committees and student organizations.
  • Meet established deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Ph.D. in Biology, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution, with at least 18 graduate hours in biology.
  • Successful teaching experience at the college level.
  • Documented performance in teaching, scholarship and service with an ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • A commitment to student engagement and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
