Responsibilities
- Teach Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, Introductory biology for majors and non majors as well as other courses in the biology curriculum.
- Teaching responsibility to include innovative use of technology and student engagement in the classroom.
- Student academic advisement.
- Maintaining office hours.
- Service to the college.
- Serve on college committees and student organizations.
- Meet established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Preferred Ph.D. in Biology, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution, with at least 18 graduate hours in biology.
- Successful teaching experience at the college level.
- Documented performance in teaching, scholarship and service with an ability to work independently and as a team member.
- A commitment to student engagement and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
