Assistant Professor of Accounting

About the role

The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the university by teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, conducting research, and engaging in service activities.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses
• Conduct research in accounting
• Engage in service activities that support the department and university

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution
• Strong teaching and research potential
• Experience in higher education is preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
