Qualifications
- An earned doctorate (Ed.D., Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent) in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- ABD will be considered with a terminal degree required for appointment.
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) and maintains or is eligible for NYS Licensure in Behavior Analysis (LBA).
- Evidence of expertise in both applied behavior analysis and special education utilizing evidence-based practices and inclusive pedagogical approaches.
- Evidence of effective design and delivery of high-quality courses in behavior analysis and special education teaching at the university level.
- Demonstrated record of academic scholarship, research, and other scholarly activities in applied behavior analysis or relevant fields.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience advancing advocacy, dignity, equity, and inclusion.
