Join Our Team as a Nursing Educator at Alfred State! Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of nurses? Alfred State is seeking dedicated nursing educators for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students in the classroom, labs, and clinical settings.
- Develop and deliver engaging course materials.
- Evaluate students in classrooms, labs, and clinical settings.
- Mentor and advise students throughout their nursing journey.
- Play an active role in curriculum development, program assessment, and student recruitment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education, or ability to complete.
- NYS Professional Nursing License & current CPR certification.
- Strong teaching, clinical, communication, and computer skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Doctorate in Nursing or related field.
- Experience with simulation-based learning.
- Background in psychiatric care (strongly encouraged to apply).
