Assistant Professor in Environmental Science and Public Health Program

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level multidisciplinary courses in environmental science and public health.
• Participate in curricular development and assist with academic assessment goals.
• Mentor and provide academic advisements for all NSEH students.
• Support the EH program accreditation process, curriculum development, and other assigned duties in the department.
• Develop an active undergraduate and graduate research program.
• Work collaboratively with others in the department to establish externally funded research grants.
• Congduct publishable research in peer-reviewed journals.
• Engage in departmental, university, and community services.
• Participate in student recruitment and registration activities.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Environmental Health / Environmental Public Health or related fields.
• Experience as a public health practitioner.
• Ability to teach graduate-level multidisciplinary courses in environmental Science and public health.
• History of writing successful education or research grants.
• Experience in online teaching.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and public health advocacy.
